NFL Blitz 2000 is an arcade-style football game for Nintendo 64 from Midway Games. This sequel expands the fast, hard-hitting NFL Blitz formula with new plays, weather conditions, stadiums, and tournament play.

  • Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
  • Arcade football gameplay emphasizes quick action, big hits, and an aggressive “no refs, no rules” style.
  • Custom offensive and defensive plays allow more control over play calling, including audibles at the line of scrimmage.
  • Blitz Passing adds one-touch long bombs for simplified downfield throws.
  • On-Fire mode boosts player performance for over-the-top momentum swings.
  • Four-player support brings same-screen competitive football to the Nintendo 64 version.

NFL Blitz 2000 follows the original NFL Blitz and builds on it with tournament mode, expanded play options, and faster passing mechanics. Its arcade approach separates it from simulation-focused football games of the Nintendo 64 era.

Football gaming the way it ought to be.

In an age where we are inundated with the constant mediocrity that is the 2k series, Blitz2000 is exactly what fun football gaming should be. It is a bit bizarre seeing what the best teams of that era were, but aside from that this game provides all the excitement and energy that is sorely missing from today's modern sports games. And as fun as it is solo it's even better multi-player; Can't recommend it enough (even to non-sports enthusiasts.) My only regret was not getting it much sooner.
