CaveGamers One-Year Limited Warranty

For eligible purchases placed on or after November 1st, 2026. Stronger earlier order terms and documented warranty commitments remain honored. This warranty is included in the purchase price; no separate protection-plan purchase is required.

Products, people and period covered

Working used items sold by CaveGamers are covered against functional defects under normal use for one year from confirmed delivery for shipped orders, local pickup, or the purchase date for in-store purchases. This includes purchases from CaveGamers online, through marketplaces, and in our local store. Coverage is available to the original purchaser and gift recipients with proof of purchase; later commercial resales are not included by default.

New-condition consoles receive 12 months of defect coverage from delivery, local pickup, or in-store purchase through valid manufacturer coverage, with CaveGamers coverage for any gap when manufacturer coverage is inactive. These coverages do not stack into an additional year. Other new products retain their verified manufacturer coverage and do not automatically receive this separate CaveGamers one-year warranty.

What is covered and excluded

Covered functional defects include battery failures under normal use, including save-battery failures where saving is part of the product's function. Normal gradual battery aging and disposable-battery consumption are excluded, without excluding an actual functional defect.

Coverage excludes accidental or liquid damage, misuse, loss or theft, cosmetic condition disclosed when sold, and damage caused by improper repairs or modifications. Opening an item or obtaining a third-party repair alone does not automatically void coverage. We do not promise a particular battery runtime or capacity unless stated for that item.

How to make a claim

Contact us within the coverage period with your order reference or in-store receipt, where you bought the item, and a description of the problem. For an in-store purchase, you can also bring the item and receipt to our store. We may request relevant unit identifiers, photos or focused troubleshooting to verify the issue. A claim reported on time remains timely if our handling is delayed. Back up your data before service and follow the reset instructions we confirm for your device.

Remedies and costs

During an applicable return window, you retain the eligible refund or exchange choice under the return policy. After that window, we repair a covered defect or provide a comparable replacement. If neither is reasonably available, we refund the item purchase price. We will not substitute a lower condition grade without your agreement.

We pay return and replacement shipping for eligible defect claims and provide U.S. prepaid warranty labels. International logistics and costs follow the applicable order or program terms; international use or forwarding does not by itself remove coverage. Covered remedies are separate from paid repair services.

Approved exchanges require the original item back. Below $200 USD per returned item after discounts, before tax and shipping, we release an available replacement after carrier acceptance or physical movement is verified. At $200 USD or more, we receive the return first. A created label alone does not qualify. We target warranty resolution within 10 business days after receipt and provide updates if delayed. A replacement receives the remaining original warranty or 90 days, whichever is longer.

Other protections and your rights

Manufacturer warranties, marketplace or product-program guarantees, and optional third-party protection plans are separate. Stronger applicable protections remain available. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state. Nothing in these terms excludes or reduces rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or reduced.
